Connect Vylo to your AI assistant
Ask about your own meetings in plain language — what was said, what you agreed to, and what you still owe someone.
What this does
Vylo records your meetings and writes clean English notes across 18+ Indian languages. Connecting it to an AI assistant lets you ask questions in plain language instead of scrolling back through recordings.
Vylo speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard assistants use to reach outside tools. Any assistant that supports MCP connectors can use it — the steps below cover the ones we have set up.
Your assistant can only read. It cannot change or delete anything, and it cannot start a recording.
What you need
- The Vylo app, with at least a few recorded meetings
- The Google account you sign in to Vylo with
- An assistant that supports MCP connectors
The connection address
Every assistant connects to the same address. Wherever a setup screen asks for a server URL, MCP URL or custom connector URL, paste this:

Claude
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the address above and continue.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings → Connectors and add a custom connector.
- Paste the address above and continue.
Custom connectors are not on every ChatGPT plan. If you cannot see the option, your plan does not offer it yet.
Desktop and command-line tools
Tools that run on your own machine — Claude Code and similar MCP clients — take the same address in their connector or MCP server settings, and sign you in through your browser.
Whichever you use, the rest is the same:
- A Vylo sign-in page opens. Sign in with the same Google account you use in the app.
- You will see a screen saying the assistant wants to read your meetings. Choose Allow.
- You are returned to your assistant, and the connector is ready.
Signing in with a different Google account connects an empty account, and you will see no meetings.
Try these
“What did I agree to in my meetings last week?”
Pulls the commitments Vylo found in your conversations — who owes what, by when.
“Summarise my conversation with the landlord from Tuesday.”
Finds the meeting and gives you the summary rather than the whole recording.
“Find the meeting where we discussed the budget and show me that part of the transcript.”
Searches your meetings, then reads the actual transcript back to you.
You can also ask things like “which meetings did I have last week?”, “what is still open from my Monday calls?”, or “what did I say I would send over?”
What your assistant can see
Only your own meetings — nothing belonging to anyone else.
- Your meetings: when they happened, how long, their status
- The AI summaries of those meetings
- The transcripts
- Commitments and action items
- Your folders
It cannot create, edit or delete anything, and cannot start a recording. Access is read-only for as long as the connection exists.
How to disconnect
Open your assistant's connector settings — Settings → Connectors in both Claude and ChatGPT — find Vylo and remove it. Access stops immediately, and you can reconnect at any time.
