Question 1

When will it ship?

Accepted Answer

Orders ship within 5–7 business days of payment. We'll send you a tracking link via email.

Question 2

Do I need to buy the hardware to use Vylo?

Accepted Answer

No. Vylo for Mac records your laptop meetings and the phone app records from your phone's microphone, both free and unlimited, with no purchase at all. The Vylo Card is for people who want a dedicated device that captures the whole room. It unlocks no extra software features.

Question 3

What's free and what needs a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Recording is always free and unlimited, on your Mac, on your phone or with the Card, including AI summaries, action items and searchable transcripts. A meeting's transcript and summary stay fully available for a limited window after each meeting. Vylo Pro is what keeps them beyond that window, and adds premium features. Current Pro prices are on the pricing page.

Question 4

Can I subscribe without buying hardware?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vylo Pro works the same and costs the same whether you record with your phone or the Vylo Card. Buying hardware never starts a subscription, and subscribing never requires hardware.

Question 5

What happens to a meeting if I don't subscribe?

Accepted Answer

You keep full access to its transcript and summary for a limited window after each meeting. After that window, keeping that meeting's memory needs Vylo Pro. Recording new meetings stays free regardless.

Question 6

I'm already using Vylo without hardware. Can I add the Card later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Buy the Card from inside your account while signed in and it attaches to the account you already have. Your existing recordings, summaries and subscription status carry over untouched. It is an upgrade to your account, not a new signup.

Question 7

Does it work with both iPhone and Android?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Vylo app is available on iOS and Android. The device pairs via Bluetooth and works with both platforms.

Question 8

What's your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

If you're not satisfied within 30 days of receiving your device, we'll refund you in full — no questions asked. Just email us at connect@vylo.one.

Question 9

Is GST included in the price?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The price shown for the Vylo Card is all inclusive, and subscription prices include GST too. No hidden charges at checkout.

Question 10

Can I use it in multiple languages in the same meeting?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vylo understands code-switching — you can mix Hindi, English, Tamil, and other languages naturally in a single conversation.
